This is is a big issue for San Mateo, with a lot of potential to reduce pollution and noise. Apparently there are some new site candidates, and the meeting for this Thursday has been cancelled to allow time to look at the new possibilities.

Just to be sure everyone who subscribes to the HANCSM site sees this.  The meeting to discuss the continuation high school, Peninsula High, is on Thursday, 3/20, at 5:30 at the Adult Ed. Center at 789 E. Poplar in San Mateo. My apologies for the confusion  

Thurs. 3/20 (not tonight as I first thought) at 5:30pm at the Adult Ed School.at 789 E. Poplar there will be a meeting to consider the relocation of Peninsula High School to the San Mateo High complex. Please attend if you can, as this is a big issue for North Central.

We have been invited to join the College Park PTA for a litter cleanup around the outer perimeter of the school. The District doesn’t do this and since most of that litter doesn’t come from the school, this is a very community minded effort.
