Sunday, October 27, One San Mateo will host a special renter meet-up to be held at the Congregational Church of San Mateo from 4 to 6 pm. A primary purpose of the meet-up will be to inform renters about AB 1482, the new statewide renter protection law that was just signed into law by Governor Newsom on October 8.
Over the past few weeks, One San Mateo has been knocking on the doors of renters to ask them about their top concerns and to urge them to come to the renter meet-up. Though our knocking has been focused on the North Central neighborhood, all San Mateo renters are invited to attend.
