All are invited to participate in the Community Needs Assessment for 2019.
The Community Needs Assessment is a vital part of the City’s engagement with the community and stakeholders to identify priority needs for programs and projects in the areas of community development, housing, and public services. Many of these programs and projects are funded through the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program, through which the City receives an annual entitlement of funds from the Fed. Dept. of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). The City will submit its Annual Action Plan to HUD for the 2020-21 Program Year, and the needs identified in this hearing will be part of that plan. The City will also outline in the plan the way it will use CDBG and other resources to address those needs.
