Long-time North Central resident and former HANCSM Board member passed away this month. We are remembering her contribution and sending her family our thoughts and prayers.
Martha W. McKinney, 80, a longtime resident of San Mateo, died peacefully Saturday, March 25, 2017.
Martha was a registered nurse with Mills-Peninsula for over 25 years. She worked tireless for the betterment of her North Central Neighborhood. She will be well remembered for her talented skills as a seamstress extraordinaire. Forever to cherish her memory are her children Patricia, Beverly, Lovell, Nereus and Wesselyne. Her legacy continues in her six grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, four siblings and a host of nieces and nephew and many special friends.
A celebration of her life will be 10 a.m. Thursday, March 30, at the Trinity Baptist Church, 39 East 39th Ave., San Mateo, CA 94401.
Visitation will take place from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, March 29, at Jones Mortuary, 660 Donohoe St., East Palo Alto, CA 94303.
