Long-time North Central resident and former HANCSM Board member passed away this month. We are remembering her contribution and sending her family our thoughts and prayers.
Obituary
Martha W. McKinney, 80, a longtime resident of San Mateo, died peacefully Saturday, March 25, 2017.
Martha was a 
registered nurse with Mills-Peninsula for over 25 years. She worked tireless for the betterment of her North Central Neighborhood. She will be well remembered for her talented skills as a seamstress extraordinaire. Forever to cherish her memory are her children Patricia, Beverly, Lovell, Nereus and Wesselyne. Her legacy continues in her six grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, four siblings and a host of nieces and nephew and many special friends.
A celebration of her life will be 10 a.m. Thursday, March 30, at the Trinity Baptist Church, 39 East 39th Ave., San Mateo, CA 94401.
Visitation will take place from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, March 29, at Jones Mortuary, 660 Donohoe St., East Palo Alto, CA 94303.
