I spoke to Caltrain’s Project Manager Rafael Bolon on Aug.15, he says that letters to the property owners whose property improvements encroach on the Caltrain right of way (ROW) are scheduled to go out at the end of the month. Although he didn’t have the exact number at hand when we spoke, he told me that about 20 letters were going out, and 4 or 5 of them were for encroachments of houses on the ROW. The rest were for encroachments by fences or other structures like sheds or garages.
