Do You Have an Old Sewer Pipe You May Need to Replace?

The City of San Mateo is offering financial assistance with inspecting and replacing residential sewer laterals — the pipes that run from houses to the street. The cost can run $15,000 to replace the lateral when it’s needed, and the City is offering up to $5000 in assistance, as well as low-cost loans and free inspections to check the condition of your line.
