Did you miss the Energy Efficiency Workshop? More Opportunities

I got a comment asking for info because someone had missed the Energy Efficiency Workshop. When I asked the Workshop’s contact here’s the very helpful answer I got:

Hi, Karen,

The workshop provided information on two programs for homeowners that can help reduce their home’s energy use.

The program I work for is Energy Upgrade California. More information about how you can receive up to $4,000 in rebates by making energy saving improvements like adding insulation, sealing your ducts, and upgrading to high efficiency heating systems can be found at www.EnergyUpgradeCA.org and on the San Mateo County website at www.co.sanmateo.ca.us/energyupgrade

Additionally, Residents in the City of San Mateo can additionally take advantage of the Rising Sun Energy Center’s Free Green House call program. In this program, youth trained in energy conservation come to your home and install energy saving devices like CFL light bulbs and power strips.
